How to Cook Ajara Ghansal?

Do not wash rice too much before cooking.
Soak rice in water for 20 mins.
Then drain water which will remove the extra starch. ( Drained Water can be Used as
Shampoo For Hair or use as Face Mask)
Take a deep thick bottomed pan.
Heat 1 tsp oil. Add rice and sauté for 1 minute.
Add 2.25 cups hot water.
Turn heat to low and cover the pan for 15 – 20 minutes.( 10mins more for Hand pounded rice)
Serve with Ghee on top or with curry, tastes delicious!
